About Ellerton Group

Built to own, not to exit.

Ellerton Group is a private holdings and advisory firm. We acquire, invest in, and advise companies — and we steward them for the long term, from London and Dubai.

Our story

A group founded on a simple frustration.

Too much capital today is built to leave. Funds raise money, deploy it, and are forced to return it within a fixed window — which means every investment comes with a built-in pressure to sell, often just when a business is hitting its stride.

Ellerton Group was founded to do the opposite. We invest our own permanent capital, with no redemption date and no exit clock. That single difference reshapes every decision we make: who we back, how we structure deals, how long we're willing to be patient, and how much room we give management to build.

We work between two financial centres — London and Dubai — and we run real companies of our own, not just finance other people's. That operational grounding is central to who we are.

What we believe

Four values that govern how we own.

Value 01

Patience

Time is an advantage, not a cost. We hold good businesses for as long as they remain good businesses.

Value 02

Alignment

We invest our own capital and stand behind every decision we make — alongside the people we back.

Value 03

Respect for the operator

We provide capital and governance, not daily instructions. The best stewards know when to step back.

Value 04

Discretion

Many of our most important relationships are never public. Confidentiality is the foundation of trust.

How we got here

The shape of the group

A short account of how Ellerton Group came to be what it is today.

Chapter I

Founded on patient capital

Ellerton Group is established around a single conviction: that the best owner of a good business is one who intends to keep it. The group is structured to hold indefinitely, with its own balance sheet rather than a fixed-life fund.

Chapter II

Built operating capability

Recognising that good ownership requires operating literacy, the group began acquiring and running companies directly — not only financing them. Advisory practice grows out of this real-world experience.

Chapter III

Two cities, one standard

Operations span London and Dubai, connecting European capital and counsel with dynamic Gulf and emerging-market opportunity. The same principles apply in both: alignment, patience, discretion.

Today

A holding company with a working arm

Ellerton Group continues to acquire, invest in, and advise companies — while operating businesses like European Technical, our UAE technical-services company, which keeps the group's counsel grounded in operational reality.

Who you work with

Senior people, directly.

There is no associate screen between you and a decision-maker. From the first conversation, you're speaking with the people who own the capital and the responsibility.

How we're organised

A small, senior group.

Ellerton Group is deliberately compact. We'd rather know every portfolio company deeply than manage many at a distance.

Investment & ownership

Originates, evaluates, and oversees our holdings and investments.

Advisory

Delivers confidential counsel on transactions, capital structure, and strategy.

Operations

Runs our group companies — including European Technical — keeping us fluent in the realities of running a business.

An affiliated company

European Technical — our working arm in the Gulf.

European Technical is Ellerton Group's UAE operating company — a licensed Dubai home-maintenance and technical-services business. Owning and running it keeps our advisory and investment work anchored in operational reality, and it exemplifies the kind of company we value: established, customer-focused, and built to last.
